Go to the Configure Site > Basic Setup tab to setup the basic configrations for your website, including the Search Engine Opimization (SEO) base tags, contact form fields, membership form fields, mailing list form fields, e-commerce options, affiliate options, customer reviews options... and Language Phrases. You can put your website in any language you want.  Use these Language Phrase fields as a way to customize the confirmation message you web visitor gets for example after submitting the contact form, or making a payment.
