| Adding/Editing Webpages | |
|
Go to the Pages > List Pages tab to get the list of current pages on your website, created on the Ultimate Web Builder software. You can edit any page by clicking on the edit icon in any page row. Your website installation starts you out with your "Home" page, "Header", "Footer", "Side Right", "Side Left", "Blog", and "Forum" pages. The Header and the Footer contents will appear at the top and bottom, respectively, of your pages, including the tops of the Blog and Forum, if they are set to Active from the Edit Page panel. The default setting for all pages is the Active status. The Side Right and Side Left will appear on the right side and left side of your pages respectively, when they are on Active status and the page format chosen has a Right or Left Side section. You can edit the folder location, title, description, and status of your Blog and Forum by clicking the edit icon in their respective list row. If you do not need a blog or forum at this point, set its status to Inactive using the Edit button to remove the link from displaying on your website, and also redirecting users to your homepage instead. To add a page, go to the Pages > Add Page tab. Just fill in the form and click the "Add Page" button when you're done. You can change any field later - including the page format - by simply clicking on the Edit icon for the row of the page you want to edit, or do a bulk Switch Page Format from the List Pages panel. You can change the page URL address as well, except for the homepage - this must be index.php as this is necessary in order for your website to be accessible from your domain name. There are lots of options for you in the Add/Edit Page section, including putting pages under a "parent" page, i.e. creating menu sublevels, adding title/description/keywords to be used for the Search Engine Optimization coding, choosing the link position...and more.

| Creating Multi-Level Drop Down Menus | |
|
It is very easy to create multi-level drop down menus for your website. On the Pages > Add Page / Edit Page sections you may choose where your webpage is located in the navigation menu by choosing its Parent Page - or make it a Top Level page (just choose "Top Level" in the Parent Page menu) for it to be the top tab on your menu. You can create unlimited levels for your drop down menus with this method. The page Label property is the title that will be used for the Menu Tab/Link Label, as noted on the Add Page / Edit Page.
You can also move the navigational location of many pages at once on the Pages > List Pages page. Click on the checkbox to checkmark/select the pages you want to move, select the Parent Page - or select "Top Level" in the menu to move page at the top - and then click on the Move link or image icon to move.
If you do want the page to appear in the Menu, make sure you choose the Link Position "Menu", on the Add Page / Edit Page.
There are other uses to a page having a Parent Page, and organizing the page levels, but having the Link Position "Other", instead of "Menu" - for example having a dynamic Horizontal or Vertical Scroll for Same Level Links or Sub Level Links (see Page Horizontal & Vertical Scrollers) |

| Formatting Webpage | |
|
You can switch between Page Formats with a click of a button - the software uses CSS and DIV coding to make a fluid, dynamic, and flexible formatting system! You can even batch Switch Format many webpages at once on the Pages > List Pages section - click on the checkboxes to checkmark/select the pages you want to switch the Page Format of, choose the Page Format you want to switch to on the top left Switch Page Format menu of the page, and then click on the Sitch Page Format link/icon.

| Further Formatting Webpage, Adding Tables | |
|
On the Pages > Add Page / Edit Page you can use the Page Editor Box to further customize/format your webpage, not just add content/inline photos.
This will pop-up the Table Properties Box, where you can choose the number of rows, columns, the width, and more. If you want to specify the width of your table, enter either the pixel value (just the number), or the percentage value folowed by "%" (without the quotes).
You can click on the Advanced Tab to add some table style properties if you would like. If you are choosing a border color and then are surprised that your table doesn't show the border - make sure you enter a value greater than 0 from the Border property in the General tab of the Table Properties Box!
After creating a table, you can edit the Table Properties, add rows/columns, delete rows/columns, merge/split table cells, and other formatting/style changes by right clicking on the Table for more Options, or clicking on the Table icon again, while your mouse is clicked in the Table space.

| Page Horizontal & Vertical Scrollers | |
|
You can create Horizontal and/or Vertical Scrollers on your page, consisting of thumbnails and/or links for Same Level Links, Sub Level Links, or even the Page Photo Category Links (links to photo categories attached to the page - see Photos Management/Slideshows & Galleries Tutorial for creating & using Photo Categories). To choose to display a Horizontal or Vertical Scroll choose "Yes" in its respective section, on the Add Page/Edit Page. You can choose the position for the scroller to appear. For the Vertical Scroll, make sure to choose a format that consists of the Side Left or Side Right section, depending on the Position of the Scroll you choose. Also make sure to choose a vale greater than 0 for the Width x Height for the Thumbnails/Text Space. When choosing Thumbnail as part of the Scroll Style, the photo - if any available/applicable - is the photo of the category, or category attached to the page to which it will link. If the space of the full Scroll span exceeds the space you have specified for the Scroll Width (for Horizontal Scroll), or Scroll Height (for Vertical Scroll), the website visitor may move their mouse towards the end of the Scrollers to scroll through all the thumbnails/links.
Also refer to the Photos Management Tutorial, Multiple Photo Slideshows/Categories On A Page section regarding Scrollers for displaying multiple photo categories attached to one page ("Page Photo Category Links" option). |
